Paul A. Casi, II is featured in the "Member Spotlight" section of The Advocate, the magazine of the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA), the state's association of trial lawyers. In the September/October 2026 issue, Paul describes his path into representing injured people. He started clerking for two trial lawyers and mentors, Bill Hoffman and Butch Turner, after his first semester of law school at the University of Louisville. In the more than three decades since, he has handled cases involving medical negligence, truck wrecks, defective products, and other catastrophic harm. He has had his own firm, Paul A. Casi, II, P.S.C., for the past 32+ years.
The feature also traces Paul's long service to KJA. He has served on the association's board since 1997 and was KJA president in 2016. The piece describes friend-of-the-court briefs he worked on for KJA, including the effort that led the Kentucky Supreme Court to strike down Kentucky's medical review panel law. Near the end, Paul quotes Katharine Graham: "To do what you love and feel that it matters, how could anything be more fun."
